Mombasa MCAs, Senator Clash Over Joho’s Palace

A day after Senator Omar made the claims, more than 10 Members of County Assembly (MCAs) have made shocking revelations on the tribulations that face the Mombasa Governor.

According to the MCAs, the National Government denied Joho access to the Uhuru na Kazi building which was supposed to house the governor’s administrative offices.

Before 2013, Uhuru na Kazi used to be the headquarters of the defunct Coast Province, but is now used by Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa and other National Government officials

Led by Mohamed Hatimy who chairs the County Assembly’s finance committee, the MCAs claimed that Mr Joho had resorted to using his private offices at Prima building in Kizingo for official duties. CONTINUE READING NEXT PAGE BELOW>>>
