Victoria Ndunge has sued Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, accusing him of abdicating parental responsibilities. The woman is demanding a monthly upkeep of Sh 259,500.
“We had a relationship with Kilonzo between 2012 and 2013 and had the child in May 2013, but we broke up thereafter. He used to provide for us for a few months, but he has now totally abandoned us and refused to cater for his child,” said Ndunge in her affidavit filed by Muriu, Mungai and Company Advocates.
In the agreement, Kilonzo was reportedly to take full medical responsibility of the child, pay the mother Sh 30,000 monthly entertainment allowance, Sh 60,000 for food and take a Sh 5 million education policy for the child.
Ndunge was also to receive Sh 15,000 for transport, Sh 10,000 for utility bills, Sh 8,500 for a nanny and Sh 6,000 for a house help.
Kilonzo wants the court to compel Ndunge to proof that she is unable to contribute to the upkeep of the child, insisting that the expenses should be shared equally.
