Residents of Kogello village in Siaya County on Tuesday morning participated in a mock election imitating the much-anticipated presidential poll in the United States (US).
The villagers both young and old trickled into an open polling station where they lined up to vote for their preferred candidate between Republican’s Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton.
In the well-organised polls, two ballot boxes – for Clinton and Trump – were placed on a table with each branded with posters to indicate which candidate they belonged to.
