Popular TV anchor Kanze Dena has opened up about her past life, how she grew up and what she went through before coming to terms with who she really is.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, Kanze revealed a number of things you probably did not know about her, her school life and her first boyfriend.
The Swahili news anchor on Citizen TV also talked about becoming pregnant at a young age, giving birth and losing her daughter at the age of three months.
She revealed that she found a boyfriend after joining college and fell pregnant of him. The pregnancy took toll of her because she feared serious reaction from her mother.
“When I completed school, there were no men to boost my self-esteem by writing me letters. I joined college and got my first serious boyfriend,” she revealed.
She went ahead to narrate how her relationship went about.
“Unfortunately, I fell pregnant. Sadly, after delivery, my daughter Natasha died at three months. I felt like I was a failure. I grew up during the age when pregnancy outside wedlock was treated like a very big sin! It was a battle, but I managed to survive through the pregnancy,” Kanze revealed.
